Welcome, Waynes of the world

This is the first step toward creation of the international Wayne Club, for all people, places, events, etc. named Wayne. I invite all of you fellow Waynes to contribute stories about you living with this, ah, different (and so '50s/retro) name as we move toward establishment of the club and the first convention... at which only the spouses, significant others, and friends will have to wear name tags. For the rest of us, "Hello, Wayne!" will suffice.

I also welcome recommendations on how the Wayne Club will evolve -- what it should be. Seven degrees of separation of Waynes? Waynes in exotic locales? Best-looking Wayne? Waynes who named sons Wayne? Places in Spain where Wayne falls mainly on the plains?

I think our first and most pressing goal is to complete an inventory of all people/places named Wayne on the planet. I suspect there are many thousands. Here in the USA we have rivers, towns, a chicken festival, and much more with the name. And we need to immediately enshrine our most famous Waynes: John Wayne, Wayne Newton, and Wayne Gretsky.
